Frank Wagner

Growing up in the multi generation family business, Frank has very vivid memories of being part of the business, including picking up and delivering textiles with Wagners drivers as a young boy. It wasn’t until years later, after taking the direction of textile engineering (Textile school in Austria), where he learned manufacturing, chemical composition of textiles, dyeing of fabrics, and printing on fabrics. Frank then took the direction of a 3 year Apprenticeship program in Nuremberg, Germany. Once he completed the apprenticeship Frank became part of a management team for the dry-cleaning and laundry plant that served approximately 30 US Army bases in Germany. In 1997, Frank immigrated to Canada, managed a dry-cleaning plant in Steveston, Richmond (Minato Village Cleaners). Then in the year 2000 he started a new plant in Delta (Tilbury Park) to address the growing demand on commercial business. He enjoys the variety of textile challenges within multiple markets and offers assistance to those clients, large or small with textile cleaning solutions. Today, he is actively involved in the Tilbury Park plant, part of a national textile restoration association that is Canada wide and he is also president of the local BC Fabricare association. With 35 years of being personally involved in the business, Frank is proud to represent the industry as well as continue in the family business, which has been going for over 179 years!
